On March 5th, Facebook announced it will start removing memorialized and voluntary deactivated accounts from Business Pages. But what does this mean for Facebook Pages owners?
A few years back, when gaining Fans was more organic than paid and based on edgerank; some Facebook Pages bought fans through illegal means to quickly gain Likes. This was done by phishing users and creating fake accounts. In Jordan alone, there were 200,000 Fake accounts in 2014, today we have a total of 3,800,000 users that we expect to drop this month. Another mean of gaining likes was by developing and setting up a “Landed Page”. Fans were not able to view the Page unless they like it first, this feature was disabled.
On January 27th, Facebook and Instargram were down for a few hours. Many people started to panic, no one want to loose their pictures from Instagram, who are we kidding?
So I posted this Tweet just right when Facebook was down and luckily CNN featured it on their website.
The beauty of Twitter is getting noticed when posting the most natural Tweet in the right time.
On Wednesday Twitter rolled two new features, the group chat and uploading videos.
I came across this article in the September issue of Travel + Leisure about your filter personality on Instagram. Mine was Earlybird, what’s yours?

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,300 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 38 trips to carry that many people.

Entrepreneurs today are fortunate to have tools that can help their startups, such as social media, incubators, mentors and crowd funding.
Crowd Funding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet
If you have an idea or a small business, Kiskckstarter is your best place to post about your project and the fund you are looking to raise. Luckily, the Middle East is no different than the rest of the world. Today we have two shakers in the market: Eureeca and AfkarMENA. They are taking the region by storm. 19 startups have benefited from Eureeca, where some of them have managed to over fund just in a 2 or 3 months period. The website is user friendly, you can connect with investors and increase your network of investors and mentors. AfkarMENA is a reward-based online platform for all your creative ideas. Whether you have a new game to develop, a music album to release, or want to start an NGO, AFKARMENA will help make that happen. I have started a project at AfkarMENA for my NGO “Under My Olive Tree” Education Program to raise fund for less fortunate students in Jordan. For more info check the link
