But how can you detect if an account is using bots?
- Take a look at the account’s comments on other people’s posts. If the comments are repeated, its a sign there’s a bot behind the profile.
- Check if the account has too many followers and poor content.
- If the account unfollows you after you follow them, this is a sign there is a bot, though this technique is used by many who do not use bots.
- If they follow thousands of accounts and only have a few followers, they probably use a bot.
